When users leave comments, in addition to the comment, the time the comment is created and the user name previously selected by the website user are stored. This data is used for our security, since we could be prosecuted for unlawful content on our web pages, even if the content has been created by users. Newsletter

With your express consent, we regularly send you our newsletter or comparable information by email to the email address you have provided.

Your email address is the only information required in order to receive the newsletter. When subscribing to receive our newsletter, the data provided by you is used for this purpose only. Subscribers can also be notified by email regarding circumstances related to the service or registration (for example changes to the newsletter offering or technical conditions).

We require a valid email address in order to activate your registration. We use the “double opt-in” method to verify that a subscription has actually been made by the owner of the email address. To do this, we keep a log of the newsletter subscription order, transmittal of the confirmation email and receipt of the response requested from the email owner. No additional data is collected. The data is used only for the purpose of sending the newsletter and is not shared with third parties.

You can revoke the consent to store your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. A link for this purpose is included in every newsletter. Alternatively, you can send us your request using the contact option provided at the end of this Privacy statement.

The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter marketing platform provided by Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, U.S.A.

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients as well as additional related data described within the context of this statement are stored on the MailChimp servers in the U.S. MailChimp uses this information to send and analyze the newsletters on our behalf. In addition, MailChimp can use the data available to it to optimize or improve its own services, such as for technical optimization of sending and displaying the newsletters or for market purposes in order to determine the country of origin of the newsletter recipients. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact them personally or to share with third parties.

We trust in the reliability as well as the IT and data security provided by MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the “Privacy Shield” EU-US data protection and privacy agreement and is thus obligated to comply with the EU data protection regulations. You can read the MailChimp data protection provisions here.

Using Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer that make it possible to analyze how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted and saved to a Google server in the United States. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on these web pages, Google will, however, truncate your IP address beforehand within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

The purpose of data processing is to analyze the use of the website and to compile reports about activities on the website. Additional associated services are provided based on usage of the website and internet. Processing depends on the legitimate interests of the website operator.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the following available browser plug-in: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Using Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also gathers, processes and uses data covering the use of the map functions. For more information about how Google processes data, read the Google Privacy Policy. There you can also change your personal data privacy settings in the data privacy control center.

You can obtain more detailed information on how to manage your data associated with Google products here.

Embedded YouTube videos

Some of our web pages include embedded YouTube videos. The operator of the associated plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, U.S.A. When you visit a page that includes a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established with the YouTube servers and information is shared with YouTube about the pages you are visiting. When you are signed in to your YouTube account, YouTube can identify you and your browsing behavior. You can prevent this by signing out of your YouTube account in advance.

When a YouTube video starts playing, the provider uses cookies to collect information about user behavior.

If you have disabled Google Ads program cookies, you will not have to worry about such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube stores anonymized user information in other cookies as well. If you would like to prevent this, you will have to block saving of cookies in your browser.

You can read more about data privacy and “YouTube” in the provider’s data privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrived on our web page after clicking on a Google ad, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer. The Conversion Tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google enabled ad. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification purposes. If a user visits particular pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Weisang as well as Google are able to detect that the user clicked on an ad and was forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using Conversion cookies is used to prepare Conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have chosen to use Conversion Tracking. The customers gather information about the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and who have been forwarded to a page with a Conversion Tracking tag. However, the customers do not receive information that can identify users personally.

If you do not want to participate in this tracking, you can refuse the setting of the tracking cookie by configuring your browser setting, which usually disables setting cookies automatically, so that cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com” are blocked.

Please note that you must not delete opt-out cookies if you do not want to record measurement data. If you have deleted all of the cookies in your browser, you will have to set the relevant opt-out cookie again.

Use of Microsoft Ads Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising program “Microsoft Advertising” of Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA; “Microsoft”) and in this context the Microsoft Advertising Conversion Tracking. The data processing serves marketing and advertising purposes and the purpose of measuring the success of the advertising measures (conversion tracking). For this purpose, Microsoft sets a cookie on your device if you have accessed our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. In this way, Microsoft and we can recognize that someone has clicked on an ad, been redirected to our website and reached a previously determined target page (“conversion site”). We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion site. Microsoft collects, processes and uses information via the cookie, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. These usage profiles are used to analyze visitor behavior and are used to display advertisements. No personal information about the identity of the user is processed.

For more information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Advertising, please see: Privacy and Data Protection Policies

Changes to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy statement so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or in order to make modifications to our services, such as to introduce new services, in the Privacy statement. The new Privacy statement then applies when you revisit the website.
