Opens a dialog box for entering text.

Syntax

TextInput(Title)

 

The syntax of the TextInput function consists of the following parts:

Title

String with a title for the dialog box.

Permitted data structures are scalar value. Supported data types are string.

Remarks

The result is a string with the text entered.

If an argument is a list, then the first element in the list is taken. If this is also a list, then the process is repeated.

Examples

TextInput("Please enter text")

Opens a dialog box with the title "Please enter text". The entered text is returned as a string.
