The DIN 45667 Standard
The German DIN 45667 standard describes a series of procedures for counting random oscillations. This standard was established in 1969 and was geared toward the technical means (counting devices) available at the time. Not all of the DIN 45667 procedures were implemented, since these have been replaced in part by the Rainflow count. This modern counting method is fully implemented and can be used for the corresponding procedures.
